Goes back to '77. I was a pax for 28 straight days and
was dying for some junk food. So were the crew. Back
then they didn't have the cookies, ice cream, etc. so
when I got home, I baked some chocolate chip cookies
and put them on at the lock on the downbound, and a
tradition was started. I even bake them as my
"gangplank boarding pass" for my innumerable Natchez
rides. In fact, on Aug. 26, the N. crew was upset
because the cookies du jour went to the DQ,not to
them!!!!!.......
