Kieth - it was great to read your note which supplied much information about the GCG. I hadn't realized the extent to which the remains had been coming to the surface. Nor the efforts which had been taken to clear the wreck. DOubt she is a hazard to navigation, but a tidy river front is somethinjg the corps of engineers hopes for . Any way, thanks for the feedback. I once started a one man show a la Swimming to Cambodia to remember the Gordon. It has been neglected for some years but maybe I will see what I can do. Cheers GCG
