Jane, I think most, if not all, of the boats in STEAMBOAT ROUND THE BEND were Sacramento River steamboats. I have seen the TOM and/or CHRIS GREENE appear in film footage of various documentaries. And the grand ol' DQ has been in MANY films, often appearing with THREE smokestacks!!!
