Phyllis, I attended the 2000 Charleston Regatta, but that was just before I purchased the Barbara H. I enjoyed seeing the boats.
The ASA regattas are held almost exclusively on the upper-ohio. Most of the participants are from that area. Because of time and distance, I don't know if/when we would take the Barbara H to a regatta. The boat was a regular at regattas as the Donald B.
My wife and I are very interested in boat history and authentic sternwheelers. The ASA just doesn't seem to put much stock into boat history, compared to way they did 20 years ago... We do plan to be at TallStacks with the Barbara H, near the WP Snyder and Nelson's fleet.
