My first time ever on board the DQ was in Sept. 68 in Muscatine, and the thing I remember most is those Greene Line green railings - I'm looking at my souvenir section here, and it was a grayish light green. One summer Dave Tschiggfrie's watchman job included sanding and varnishing the railings back to the unpainted stage. I believe the paint had already been removed, but he was restoring the railings. ............
