Virgil Fox! Why, yes I know who that is! No self-respecting, educated, cultured, and refined individual would not (and even a few that aren't do....namely, me!)
Today there is no equivilant to a "Master of the Pipe Organ" in a vein such as Mr. Fox. The closest we get today is Diane Bish, who is a accomplished and celebrated artist, and very talented as well. But, no Virgil Fox.
Gee, I have performed on the same keyboard as Virgil Fox. Better keep that off my resume...it is already head-swollen enough!
I'll have to keep this in mind...perhaps we should have a "Bach at the Roch" concert on the Mississippi Queen this season.
I am already giggling at the idea!
By the way, keep the posts up Jane! I look forward to your wit and greatly historic information daily on here! As well, it is such a great thrill to have the Greene family posting on the board. I know I am learning volumes just watching. Thank you so very much for participating!
