Travis, Indeed, tracker calliopes are "stiffer" than pipe organ action, although when I use all the couplers and have all 21 ranks drawn (usually for Easter and Christmas services when the church is packed!) I almost need to stand up to play that old 1886 organ! As to the Str. ADMIRAL calliope - Capt. Bill Carroll passed away a couple of years ago. Most of his collection went to the Mercantile Library and they also had a "garage sale" of his personal effects. Nobody I know who attended the sale saw a steam calliope! If and when I find the tape, you certainly will receive a copy!
