Well, anyway, Dale..ahem..ahem..let's get back to grandma. Wondering if your documents explain how exactly she was related to Eli Whitney? Her mother was a Whitney, ya know, but it was never clear to me ..or it bored me to hear about it when young{AND old,heh,heh} how they were rlated? A grand niece or something? And yes, dear, I do remember those "bar days"..could that be why that tow boat crashed into the bar and it was named THe Mary B.? luv, Jane
