Right on Judy. It behooves all of us, the steamboaters and the DQSC to have all available information out there for all to see. The DQSC pays the travel agents for their services but does not pay that commission when we book direct. I know that the travel agents provide a valuable service but some of us like to do our own thing. Sometimes we pay a little more, sometimes less. It is our choice to do it our way. When we can do the research ourselves we can make adjustments and fine-tune plans before committing. It also cuts down on a lot of phone calls between the traveler, the agent and DQSC. I would also like to know all the planned literary of each cruise. We were able to do that with the posted schedules of the past. Sometimes the stops make a difference in which cruise I take. I realize that while steamboating some changes may have to be made, but it is nice to know what was planned. Themes are also important. It is nice to get but I would be pleased to get recognition in the way of some fare reduction and an occasional upgrade. Without repeat passengers the boats would never run full. I hope that the company will do more to get new steamboaters and retain the present loyal “Frequent Floaters” The fine crew and staff on the Queens are depending on all of us for their future in Steamboatin’
