I just got an email (via our web site hspsi.org) the other day from the President of the Menard County Tourism Council, asking for pointers on related costs associated with running another passenger vessel there. So it sounds like they want to do it, if possible. I sent him some information. If you want his email, let me know.

Do you think the Sangamon is still considered "Navigable Waters" due to the lower water levels? If it's non-navigable now, it could lessen some of the usual CG requirements for such vessels on navigable waters, and reduce costs (see reg's CFR 46 Subchapter T). Just a thought.
