Greetings:
Fine words from Gordon and Jane about a remarkable woman--Mrs. Letha C. Greene. Gordon, your eulogy that cold, icy night at Knox Presbyterian Church was a classic and I marveled at your total control and delivery. Letha Greene took the time from her own busy schedule, family and business problems to write to me--one pretty scared U.S. Marine recently graduated from University of Cincinnati. See, there was this big, nasty green place called Viet Nam lurking over the horizon. Letha advised me more than once on a proposed career change I was considering. "Dale," she said, "you must have roots in the land." To this day I never look at the DELTA QUEEN without thinking of you.
Regards,
R. Dale Flick
