I called the New Salem State Park today and was told the Talisman has not been traveling for 2 years now. It is docked at Pritchartville, Illinois neaw New Salem. The reason I was told is that the river is too high or too low for travel. Hope this has been of help. There is a paddle wheel boat out of Peoria if interested.
