I saw the MILWAUKEE CLIPPER from a distance. A pad-locked chainlink fence kept me, and other ner'good do wells, at a good distance away. I didn't even get a good photo of her because of the distance.

Another nearby old steamboat that is worth seeing is the carferry CITY OF MILWAUKEE at Manistee, MI. Her website is www.carferry.org. During the "passenger season", she is used as a B&B, restaurant, and museum.
Due to time constraints I didn't get to see her either; I had to head up to St. Ignace to catch the last ferry of the day over to Mackinac Island. I did see her while she was laid up in Elberta, MI, and she does have a wonderful four color brochure that's currently available.
