A news brief in today's Madison newspaper mentions that the Chattanooga Star will not be returning to Evansville this summer for public excursions. The past two years have been negative cash flow for them, according to Capt. Pete Hosemann. (This is indirectly related to the Mamie S. Barrett thread, as the Hosemann's bought the Mamie and took her to Vicksburg as a restaurant/showboat in the late 1980s).
