Judy, you are so right. I can remember cruising on the PRESIDENT quite a few times in St. Louis. Towards the end of one such evening visit, the group I was with thought I had "disappeared" (they had probably had their "fill" for the night)...if they had known me a little better, they would have realized I was at the stern near the port side wheel well watching the docking proceedures and pretending to hear the long gone paddlewheels easing her into dockside...ahhh...I miss and cherish those "simple" moments. ~Kev
