Jane,
I am NOT in the least bit offended, if fact I am complimented that you even mention me. You are, will always remain one of my most cherished steamboat friends. I know exactly how you feel about some of those named folks, but if I ever reveal what really went on "in the good old days", it won't be on these pages. You know how much I enjoy writing stories about what I've experienced on the river. Remember the stories I wrote for you between my Watchman rounds on the DELTA QUEEN? Every morning there was another chapter waiting for you.
Kenny, Jimmy, Alan, and I would have loved for you to have been 'round that table with us at MOR. You were missed.
PS. My Grand Vic Mate, Captain Sandra Clark will always remember meeting you on the boat. She's left for a casino boat on the lakes to be under the guidance of Captain Lisa Streckfus.
