Subject: More on the Tunica RiverPark & Museum

Yesterday I received a packet of information on the new Tunica RiverPark from Mr. Paul McKinney, of Memphis, whose excellent models of the steamer MISSISSIPPI (#3) and diesel towboat (#4) are exhibited in the new river museum, which officially opened on March 18th. Paul says that "his girls" are beautifully displayed with dramatic lighting and he's very pleased. The museum is open 7 days a week (except Christmas) from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Admission for adults is $5. The excursion boat TUNICA QUEEN makes various cruises throughout the day and evening. From the material Paul sent it appears that the RiverPark is quite a place -- and I hope to visit it later this month enroute home from a southern sojourn.
