Darin, sadly enough they've already gotten rid of most of the entertainment. When they start the new schedule the end of April the current onboard band and singers/dancers are out of jobs. They will be picking up local talent at their Baton Rouge and Natchez stops.
Jane, remember the entertainers they had come aboard to audition on the AQ Reunion trip? Can't remember what they did, do you? It was either in Baton Rouge or Natchez and Dave Simmons had come up to check them out. Sure can't remember whether they sang, danced, or stood on their heads!
On the 4 day cruise the first day is steamboatin' - wonder what, if any, entertainment will be offered then. Your Engine Room idea is great, but doubt if it will be big enough - along with the noise of the slots, there is also the excessive smoking that seems to go with the territory. At least that would be shut off from the rest of the boat - maybe. As of now the AQ is the logical boat to do the gambling on, as she already will have a limited range - but the Natchez stop would have to be eliminated unless they get a Mississippi license also.
