You can almost hear what is happening at this moment at Robin Street. The Capt orders the pilot to call for half speed astern and sound the notice. The Delta Queen backs out into the river and Then reverses the wheel to ply the waters of the Mississippi with passengers again. Sure wish we were aboard. At least she is underway again. The Queen is steaming the river again with her favorite son as Master. Soon it will be our turn to board and be thankful that SHE is still part of our lives.
