Dear Patricia, My Father would BE same age as Delta Queen is; had he NOT passed in 1997. I have ALWAYS counted the DQ as 76 rather than 75. Her Keel was finalized in 1926. I consider THAT her christening... They DID so With BELLE! The IDELWILD was Fabricated in 1914....BUT she was NOT completed until the SPRING of 1915. Sincerely, Allen Dale.
