Capt. Mike; I cant begin to express my feelings when I read your latest posting. Reading your words was almost as good as being there. I could feel the effort she had to put in to freeing herself from the muddy bottom and could almost hear the long and 3 shorts as the wheel pulled her out into the river and then reversing to push up river. 16 RPM, sounds like the old girl was just waiting to show how much she wanted to steam up the Mississippi again.
