Dear Captain Mike, August 26,2002, a day for all steamboaters to celebrate as the grand dame of the inland waterways, the Delta Queen returns to active service thanks to the dedicated efforts of the staff of DQSC and especially it's extraordinary commanding officer, Captain Mike. From steamboaters everywhere, our heartfelt thanks to the captain and the staff for their efforts and especially to Captain Mike for his tremendous communication on an ongoing basis.
