The Tangley was a product of Muscatine...and everyone just thinks of it today as the Pearl Button Capital of the World! Pshaw, I say!
I can't imagine the Tangley being played with a band. Although, a late friend, Larry Mac Pherson, once said, "You could have Church on this thing" in reference to a Tangley. Because of the lack of heat distribution they hold tune alot better than a steam calliope. So that being the case, I suspect a band application is not out of the question. But, what it must have sounded like?!?!?!
