Maneuverboat 35

Hannibal, OH

The MANEUVERBOAT 35 is a typical work boat from the Army Corps of Engineers to maintain wicked dams. MANEUVERBOAT 35 today is part of a beautiful exhibit about these almost extinct construction type of locks and dams - see wicked dam in the glossary. The exhibit is located right at the Hannibal Locks and Dam at Hannibal, Ohio. Built in 1972 (construction began 1967) today's Hannibal Locks and Dams replaced three older wicket-type projects, Locks and Dams 12, 13 and 14.
