I was on the Admiral tonight and had a discussion with one of the managers about the future of the boat. He told me that just today, in interview with a St. Louis news station, it was implied that the Admiral would be scrapped. He confirmed that it this was his understanding as well, although he regretted it being a long time St. Louis resident. (The casino was sold and a new building will replace the Admiral very soon. The casino has already posted a call for President Casino chips to be cashed in or forfieted by a certain date.)

This may be old news on this board, but I have not seen anything as of late and the news cast today makes it current.

That is all of the information I have. Did anyone see the newscast or does anyone know anything more? I will be watching at 11 from my St. Louis hotel room.
