Default Steamboat Artifacts

I am tardy in getting this news out but on May 4, a wednesday, Capt. Jim Blum arrived with a rental van at the Chilo Lock #34 museum full of steamboat goodies. He was met there by Capt. Bill Judd, Capt. Don Sanders and Chris Clingman director of the Park Districts museum. I was like a kid in a candy shop, only even better. Lots of gauges, engine room gong, shutters, Capt. Tom Greenes office chair and most of all a real fine Delta Queen name board. It was all a real fine gift to the Chilo Lock # 34 museum and will be used in conjunction with the new Capt. Ernest E. Wagner Memorial display. Capt. Don Sanders has some photos on the Ernest E. Wagner School of Steamboating web site. Thanks so much to Cap. Blum's continued support of the museum.
