Default 1854 Plumas smokestack update

Sorry to take so long to give you all an update on the status of the location of the 1854 Plumas smoke stack.

This smoke stack was last known seen at the site of the riverboat's shipwreck site, sticking up out of the water in an old inlet. n 1970. Now the inlet is blocked with silt just about 50 yards down stream. We attempted to search the area of the silt build up for the old scroll worked stack. But, we were not successful, as the grass , poke weed and nettles were very tall and were occupied by a very large tribe of ticks. The local tribe was quite effective in encouraging us to return this winter. Stay tuned when the weather cools.
