Who Is She?

Sitting above Greenup, Kentucky at mile 334.5 of the Ohio River is an old sternwheel towboat. The forward part of the main and boiler deck superstructure remains, and the pilothouse is gone. Would some one shed some light on what her name was.

Sounds like it could be the remains of the Steam towboat ATLAS, that Merdie Boggs & Sons used as an office barge/wharfboat for many years. I think it had been at approx. mile 320 (+/-). Here are some photos.. Just a guess..

That's her alright! I remember seeing her up at Cattletsburg years ago in the Boggs fleet there.

Thanks, Steve, for the quick reply.

Thank you

Nice find. I have been trying to collect abandoned and "mystery" riverboats like this here: Abandoned, wrecked, and mystery riverboats - The Steampunk Empire

What other abandoned riverboats do you all know of?
