Default Wanting to Build Scale Model of Small River Steamer

I'd like to build a scale model of a small steamer like the "Rockford" - a small, 24 ton packet that was used for excursions and cargo between Oregon and Rockton in IL during the mid-1880s. Assuming such a model kit does not exist off-the-shelf, does anyone know where I can find good photos, sketches and/or plans for such a boat? I've been building 18th & 19th century wooden boats (solid hull, plank-on-bulkhead).
