Default Alan Bates' book "Naval Architect" is available again!

Dear friends,

with great pleasure we're announcing that Alan Bates' long out-of-print book "Naval Architect" is now available again.

In November 2011 Alan wrote us an e-mail asking to keep some of his books available (or, in case of the "Naval Architect" making it available again) to historians and river fans "for at least a few more years", as Alan wrote. We're very happy to do so and feel very honored that Alan chose us for this.

It took longer than I thought to make the first book in this series ready for printing, but eventually it's done now. We chose "Naval Architect" to be the first as it was out of print for a long time already and I guess many of you haven't had a chance to read it at all so far.

Now, here it is and I hope you enjoy reading "Naval Architect" as much as we did.

You'll find more information ab out the book in our news section and at

“Naval Architect” is available from as well as retail book stores (ISBN: 978-1484939932):

paperback edition $12.50 (current price: $10.83)

Kindle e-book edition $4.99
