Here is today's mystery photo. A note on the back says [I]"Low water Ohio River maybe about 1925, about the month (mouth?) of the Little Kanawha River low water"[/I]

it appears to me to be the Str. General Wood and she is making her approach to the Little Kanawha River were all the wharfboats that served Parkersburg were located.

The low water statement puzzles me as Lock & Dam #19 was in full operation just 12 miles downstream and #18 was in operation just 4 miles upsream. Parkersburg would have had a stable pool.
