I'm not all that keen on what I call the Kumbaya songs. They do tend to be redundant and sometimes just plain hard to sing. You don't know where, or when, the next note is going to be. They would not sound well on a calliope. Some are pretty good, though, if they are written to appeal to someone who is over the age of 15. Most of our tiny congregation is well over the age of 15.
