Joined!!!!!!!! I was raised in peoria, Il. Thanks to my Grandparents I was on the Julia Belle Swain almost every weekend, I was taught fifth grade by her Capt. Bob Anton. This boat is so near and dear to my heart! There are so many stories of "why" she is layed up,,,,but, we need to hear what we "can" do to get her back on the river again. I like so many do not have tons of money and are hoping for lotto,but, would really donate time to this project! There would be again, nothing like going through the "narrows" hearing Miss. Libby or Travis playing "Little Sir Echo", on the calliope from the Peoria days!
