Holiday Open House at the Howard
Just a last minute reminder that the annual Holiday Open House at the Howard Steamboat Museum is THIS Sunday (December 11th) from 1:00 until 4:00 PM. Admission is free!
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in the Library to visit with the little ones and to pose for pictures.
Our good friend Kadie Engstrom, education coordinator for the BELLE of LOUISVILLE, will be on deck to sign her beautiful new book, Pathway through the Past, a pictorial timeline through regional landmarks in Kentuckiana. It's an excellent book and the layout was done by Kadie's sister. Lots of great river material in it, of course!
The gift shop is well stocked with books, DVD's, mugs, prints, model plans, CD's and other great stocking stuffers for that riverboat buff and buffette on your list!
Come enjoy the Howard mansion, decorated in holiday Victorian finery, and have some punch and cookies in the dining room with us!
