Thanks to ALL who took part in the holiday festivities at the Howard Steamboat Museum this afternoon. The event was well attended, with many young parents bringing youngsters to visit Santa, Kadie signed her book for appreciative customers, the gift shop did a brisk business, plenty of goodies and punch were consumed in the dining room and there was the usual fellowship when two or more gather in the name of steamboating!

It was great, as always, to visit with Capt. Mike Fitzgerald, Jo Ann Schoen, Jimmy Reising, Keith Baylor & family, Capt. Kevin Mullen, Travis Vasconcelos, Ted Guillaum, Capt. Pete, Evie and Kathleen O'Connell, et al.

An august group enjoyed a leisurely and delectable dinner at Kingfish, giving us a ringside seat for the spectacular sunset over the Ohio, which is on the rise again. Just across the river, the BELLE was aglow in lights, looking as if she might depart on a "moonlite" at any minute.
