Default Mark Twain and Sir Lewis DeConti

Many people think both Mark Twain and Sir Lewis DeConti were fictional. Right now I am doing research on a fellow named John Lawrence LeConti who was known to travel steamboats collecting bugs in the 1800's. Like Mark Twain, John Lawrence LeConti had connections to Pittsburgh and to Nicholas Roosevelt and Peter Shouse.

One of the LeConti family was Bishop James Roosevelt Bayley buried at Emmitsburg MD beside his aunt Saint Elizabeth Seton. He attended Mount Saint Mary's College in the mid 1800's. Mount Saint Mary's College was started by General Lafayette and Bishop Duboise around 1798. Bishop Duboise was a classmate of Robespierre in France via Mount Saint Mary's College records that date back to 1798.

General Lafayett's foster brother was Dr Felix Brunot of Brunot Island just east of Shousetown PA and is otherwise known as Kennedy Township. This was the first stop and log book entry for Meriwether Lewis. Dr Felix Brunot is buried at Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh.

Has anyone ever heard of Sir or Sieur Lewis DeConti?
