Dale,

The oldest piece of furniture aboard the DELTA QUEEN (that dates to her origins in California) is a round table just inside the door to the Aft Cabin Lounge (Betty Blake Library now). It is stamped CTCo (on the bottom) and said to have been from the original dining room of the boat on the Cabin Deck.

I would tend to believe this to be true as this very table has been mentioned on these boards before.

It is nice to see it in it's original room again after all these years!

As for the clock on the stantion between the Pursers Office and Gift Shop, the one there today is not the original. Where the original has gone, I do not know.

Wish I could be aboard to greet these historic river luminaries. Ah, but alas I will be on the MISSISSIPPI QUEEN.
