I happened to see this same item on ebay during the winter. I have included a photo of the ferry EVELYN that this wheel supposedly came off of.

Link belt is a general manufacturer of power and drivetrain equipment. Along with cog gears, they also made journal and roller bearings. The bearings on the BARBARA H's 50 foot drive shaft, that powers the paddlewheel, are Link Belt bearings.
