Thanks to Ken Buel, of Collinsville, IL, who reports today that the dismembered remains of what once was the proud steamer CINCINNATI / PRESIDENT have disappeared from the site along Interstate 70 at St. Elmo, Illinois. A call to the local newspaper provided the information that what's been salvaged of the boat has now been moved to a private storage site and that no further progress has been reported on the project.
