Default A Library of Steam Engineering

I don't know how helpful this may be, but, given the amount of discussion on .org lately regarding steam equipment, I thought this might be a good link to post. Google Books has digitzed all 803 pages of John Fehrenbatch's 1894 tome "A Library of Steam Engineering," which devotes many pages to Western rivers style engines and equipment. Hopefully this could answer some questions!

The book can be found here: A library of steam engineering - Google Book Search

Discussion of Western rivers engines begins at Chapter XVIII on page 483.
