What Is The Steamboat In This Old Video ?

I like old blues music and while searching on YouTube found that someone had blended a great old Bukka White song with a short video of an old Mississippi Packet boat. The date is possibly 1939. I'm sure someone here more familiar than I with Mississippi boats can help with the name of this very large boat. Are there any other vintage steamboat videos on YouTube or elsewhere that can be shared with others here ?

2008 not 1939 footage

Well, the song may be from 1939, but that video was shot last year, 2008. That's the AMERICAN QUEEN in her navy blue paint job. The first year of that, 2007, only the main deck was painted blue. In '08, they added the second deck in navy blue, which is what shows in this film.

Wow !

Thank you Ms. Judy, I never imagined, I thought for sure it was an old video. It did cross my mind though, that something wasn't right about it. I saw the MQ often in my river service but was I back on the bank for good by time the other new steamboats came out. I must say though , I enjoyed being fooled...............

Judy's right

I know thats the AQ I think that was taken by one of the passanger on the DQ at Natchez under the Hill on the first run up the Mississippi.I was there and many of us had camcorders and a couple were very good at it and would have been able to dub over the sound track. THe Dq had to move from port so the AQ could dock and she went up river ahead of us on the DQ and came back to port inside us and we came along side her. If you look hard enought you will see someone waving there hand of the side of the DQ.
