Three months ago, on November 2, 2008, I was on vacation in New Orleans and met, by chance, Judy Patsch. She, in turn, guided me to Steamboats.org which has rekindled friendships from my early days on the Mississippi Queen from 1976-79. On February 20th, I'm flying to Cincinnati, for the weekend, to meet up with former crewmembers that were part of my steamboat 'family'. We have not seen or heard from one another in over 30 years and are all excited about getting together again and sharing our stories. Martha Razor (purser), Karen Routenberg and Steve Hoffman (housekeeping), Vince and Missy Seltzer (lounge staff) and myself will be there, just for starters! Location has not yet been determined, but will either be in Covington or Mt. Adams on Saturday evening, February 21st. We're hoping that fellow steamboaters, past and present, will join us in memories and merriment! Bring your past photos and your camera for new ones!
