Plans that were announced in October to revive the Str. Becky Thatcher as a restaurant and showboat at Marietta have hit a "snag" and the project has been placed on hold until the economy improves.

Although plans have not been completely abandoned, the project has been tabled until further notice. Meanwhile, the BECKY sits dark and idle at her landing, where she has been closed to the public for over two years.
