Hampton Inn's Save a Landmark:BOL

Hampton Inns have a "Save a Landmark" web site. For some reason, the Belle of Louisville is on their list. You can go there and vote for it at the link below. This basically a volunteer effort by Hampton Inn employees to offer help in cleaning, painting, repairs, etc. It looks like they pick the recipients from votes cast on their web site.

The BOL is here: Hampton Landmarks

Thanks,

I just went in and voted for the BELLE. Upon looking at the website a little closer you can nominate a Landmark. So of course, I nominated the DELTA QUEEN. I explained she only needs the stroke of a pen to save her. I asked that corporate write letters and to ask each employee to write a letter as well. We do use their hotel when arriving in a city before a trip and sometimes staying over a extra fews days after departing from the boat. It does benefit their bottom line to SAVE THE DELTA QUEEN!

I just did the same thing Jo Anne did, voted for the Belle and nominated the DQ.
