I have located my Great Aunts research in our family records, handwriiten many years ago about a Mr. J.A. Greer who came to Texas with a Wilson Strickland and went to Texas briefly and showed up again in 1847. Wilson I believed traveled by boat from Texas to MS or Ala up the MS River. This same J.A. Greer owned a steamboat called the James Battle. There was also a man named John Stinson who owned a steamboat called The
Iberia." I am looking for any info on anyone of these gentlemen and/or steamboats, with passenger lists. I research the Stinson line but Greer pops up as well in my line. Please reply to Pamelafairhop@gmail.com Thanks Pam
