Briefly mentioned in today's St. Louis Post Dispatch article, about Pinnacle Entertainment's St. Louis operations, was the Admiral. It seems that Pinnacle is interested in keeping the old gal open for now. They're hoping for a measure, to end the state's loss limit, to be approved as well. Already, Pinnacle has invested money in the Admiral, and recently joined Lumiere Place and the Admiral together in their new slot card program. These are the first two Pinnacle properties to introduce the new card program. So, the Admiral may hang around for a few more years.

As for the President, she's still slumbering upriver in Wood River, IL. I saw her on TV recently, when a station's helicopter was providing filler for a weather segment. No news on when the boat will be flown to "Nowhere, Illinois" yet. Or, was it that they would be chopping up the boat and sending it by UPS. I forget what this week's idea is.
