Default Historic Mississippi Riverboats??

I've been looking for days to find information on historical riverboats along the Mississippi (for a school project), and am having very little luck. I need to make a timeline of riverboats that cruised the Mississippi, starting with the first ever made. It's not moving quickly. I've been getting a lot about the explosion of the Sultana in 1865.

What I'm asking is; does anybody know about links or books that would have this kind of information? Whenever I type anything with the Mississippi in a search, all I can find out of it are upcoming cruises along the river. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
