Here Comes the Showboat! Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow at 3:00 PM EDT is the "Footlights Afloat" program in the "River Ramblings" series at the Howard Steamboat Museum. The weatherman says there's a 40% chance of thunderstorms and we just might cool down to 90 degrees!
Also, a reminder that the program will be in the 1880's carriage house of the museum, which is NOT air conditioned, so please dress comfortably. The program will last about an hour and we'll have plenty of cold lemonade and ice water on hand -- as well as some cookies! A suggested donation of $5 per person for the program benefits the museum, but if anyone wishes to contribute more -- OR a benefactor would like to write us a check to restore and air condition the carriage house -- we will gratefully accept it!
