Default Steamboats

Hello folks,
I lurk on the boards once in a while. I really enjoy the postings on the various technologies of steamboats. I had the chance to tour the DQ engine room as little boy twenty five years ago. That was the first time I heard the term "California Cut-off" and "pitman". I think the engine designs are extraordinary. I wish I had a chance to see the Sprague before it's demise.

On another subject. I found an ad on ebay. Somone selling Steam Calliope.

Starting bid only 125K. Sounds like a heck of a deal.
