Default Point Pleasant Whistle Blow

Some famous whistles of various steamers were recorded at Point Pleasant around 1965 at what was supposedly the world's first organized whistle blow. These are the same sounds found on this site. Does anyone know if there are still whistle blows held at Point Pleasant? It would be a great event!

There is a big whistle blow held every year in Jones, MI at Boot Hill on live steam. I believe it is set for June 23 this year and is their 20th annual such event. In addition to Boot Hill, there are large steam related whistle blows held annually in the New York and New Jersey areas at the Pratt Institute and Bergen Tech, hosted by Conrad Milster and Frank Vopasek. You can see a video clip of one of these blows under "Conrad's Whistles" at http://www.youtube.com/groups_videos...eamairwhistles
